Don is very helpful & knowledgeable. He told me the parts were available when he called with the estimate & the work was finished when he said it would be. The mechanics never leave a mess & I've never had a problem with their workmanship.

I ordered my 2017 Chevy SS from Terryville Chevrolet in February 2017. After a long 7 months of not knowing where my car was, and having to continually have to contact Terryville Chevrolet for updates on my car, I finally received word that my car was located. During this entire time, my salesman, Rich Demonte, seemed as if he could not be concerned about the sale. Every interaction with the dealer, and my salesman, required me doing the homework, and inquiring information, even having to remind my salesman for information and documentation. I was also put in touch with Jim Frageau, the General Manager at Terryville Chevrolet. Our first interaction was during the final negotiation phase, after my order had been affected by a system ordering glitch, and subsequent delay. After being handed off by Rich Demonte, I tried asking Jim Frageau if he could do right by the customer considering the time and aggravation I have dealt with this process. I was hastily cut off by Jim Frageau and told it was not their fault, but GM's. Regardless whether or not Terryville was going to do better on the deal, I was dismayed and disgusted by Jim Frageau's poor attitude on the phone. I took delivery of the car on 10/15/17. Upon accepting the car, it did not appear that a proper PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) had been performed, as the shipping blocks were left on the front springs. Being it a Sunday, with Terryville's service department closed, this led to a considerable delay in the process, only being resolved after the manager on duty removed the shipping blocks himself in the service center. This led me to question other parts of the PDI. After an uneventful drive home from CT, to Long Island, NY, I parked my 2017 Chevy SS in my garage until 10/21/17 when I cleaned and detailed the car. Upon detailing the car, I noticed a bulge on the front drivers side tire, as well as four nicks on the inner part of the rim. The bulge on the sidewall of the tire, I understand can be argued to hitting a pothole, or driver error (which did not happen). The damage to the rim though, is clear cut transport damage, in it's location on the rim (inner rim), and pattern (specific spotting, from a tie down, or chain. Not the customary blotch of metal damage from curb/road damage). Upon noticing this damage, I took pictures and sent them to Rich Demonte at Terryville Chevrolet. Rich immediately blew off my claim, putting me in contact once again with Jim Frageau, General Manager. Once again, upon initial contact, Jim Frageau was flippant, rude, and condescending. While trying to explain my findings, he talked over me stating I must have hit road debris. When asked if he had seen the pictures of the damage I sent Rich Demonte, which clearly show the damage as Transport Damage, and not Road/Driving Damage, he had no answer, and immediately shouted, telling me 'It appears I have to be blunt with you again' that Terryville Chevrolet is not responsible. At this time, I explained to Jim Frageau that it appeared I was not the only customer who has had a poor experience with Terryville Chevrolet, according to responses from an online forum based around the Chevrolet SS. Jim Frageau continued to threaten me, by saying, 'I should watch what I say, my words can be used against me'. In addition to this, Jim Frageau informed me, that I owed an additional $153 dollars in taxes for registration. I could not believe Terryville Chevrolet was asking for more money after the deal had been finalized and the car was in my possession. When I asked for an explanation on where exactly this additional $153 was coming from, Rich Demonte told me to call the dealership and ask for someone else for an explanation. A completely unacceptable answer. Upon further inquiry as to where the additional $153 came from, through emailing Rich Demonte, and Jim Frageau, my inquiries were left ignored with no response.
